What is CompuGoddess?
Behind the Name
CompuGoddess is really me, Lisa Tannenbaum.
 A few years ago, a bunch of people were going around calling me "the computer goddess." They thought I could fix anything at all on a computer. Despite the fact that they were wrong (I had just gotten lucky and fixed their problems), I did kind of like the name.
As it turns out, it suits me well. It seems people tend to think of me as some sort of "earth mother," even though I definitely can't grow anything (except mold in the refrigerator) and I'm not a vegetarian. I think I do have a nurturing streak, though, which shows up in my teaching and consultation. I like the way and merge both my technical and social abilities.
